On the whole, Angry Birds Star Wars for the PS3 is actually a moderately good game that definitely does not deserve the hate it gets.
As someone who is a completionist in these types of games, the game could keep me coming back for weeks, possibly months. There are also the 20 aforementioned bonus levels included, which most are really fun. There are 160 levels in the main story, with around 20 extra levels being unlocked as you collect stars.
Speaking of levels, there is an insane number of them. You could design one level, and the outcome would be different depending on what birds are being used for it. Each bird has their own abilities which gives each level variety too. You can play them at your own pace, whether you just want to finish it and move on or try to aim for 3 stars. However, the ludacris price point does not affect my overall thoughts, as I just waited a few years and bought it off Amazon for $10, which is still not that worth it, but way better than the launch. The original launched on the app store for 99 cents, so having to pay such a high price for one new mode and a few exclusive levels is not okay.
